Stylus XR

AR3S was formerly known as ARES.
In "Stylus XR" you are able to establish a connection between your AR3S application and Stylus XR – an AR input device developed in-house by Holo-Light.

For detailed instructions on how to set up the Stylus XR for Microsoft HoloLens 2, please refer to the Stylus XR-Quickstart guide.

This feature in only available for AR3S (and thus not for AR3S Pro or AR3S Pro Cloud).
Accessing the "Stylus XR" Menu
Once you have started AR3S access the "Main" menu and go to "Settings". Then navigate to "Stylus XR".

Options Available 

This item searches for compatible Stylus XR devices nearby by clicking on the button.

If no compatible Stylus XR device can be found you will get a notification reading "Could not find any Stylus XR devices.".

Found Devices

This item connects to an available Stylus XR device by clicking on "Connect" right next to it.
